As a board member, your responsibilities include financial oversight of the organization, but what exactly does this mean?  Join us as we talk specifically about the financial responsibilities of board members, from fundraising and budgeting to audits and Form 990.

About the Facilitator:

Carrie Minnich is a partner with DWD (Dulin, Ward & DeWald, Inc.) in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She leads the Nonprofit Services Team, which provides assurance and tax services, as well as consulting and board training to nonprofit organizations. Carrie graduated from Manchester College (now University) with a Bachelors degree in Financial Accounting (cum laude) and a Master of Accountancy.  After graduation, she worked for a CPA firm in Indianapolis before moving to Fort Wayne and joining DWD in 2004.  Carrie has served on various nonprofit boards and committees and is the current chair of the Indiana CPA Society.  She resides in Fort Wayne, with her husband, John, and in her free time, enjoys running and walking on the Fort Wayne trail system.
